Clinical trial screening

Clinical trial recruitment, built into patient care

  • Every trial, checked automatically

Each patient is screened against every active trial's inclusion and exclusion criteria while the chart is reviewed. There is no separate chart review and nothing to set up. Only trials at your site or nearby sites are included.

  • Criterion by criterion

Open a trial to see which criteria the patient meets, which rule them out, and the chart evidence behind each one.

  • A person makes the call

Anything the chart cannot settle is flagged for review, so a coordinator confirms before the patient is approached.

Why this matters

The answers are already in the chart

We know the guidelines. But the details that matter most are often buried in long charts, and patients who miss tests or appointments quietly fall behind. The published evidence shows what those gaps cost.

21%

of biologic-naïve UC patients who were overdue for follow-up had inflammation on fecal calprotectin while in clinical remission.

MacKay et al., Diseases, 2025. https://doi.org/10.3390/diseases14010002

69%

of IBD patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer had no colonoscopy in the prior 5 years.

Kim et al., Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, 2022. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cgh.2022.02.048

11% to 82%

Bone density screening rates in IBD patients before and after reminders, including an EMR prompt, made the indication visible in clinic.

Shah-Khan et al., BMJ Open Quality, 2019. https://doi.org/10.1136/bmjoq-2019-000624

CleverConsult lets me be the doctor I set out to be.

CleverConsult lets me be the doctor I set out to be. For years, more and more of my workday was swallowed up by administrative tasks, digging through referral packages, transcribing notes, and chasing down clinical details. It was draining and left little time for what really matters: caring for my patients. CleverConsult changed that. It lifts the burden of documentation so I can focus on delivering the expert care I trained so long to provide. It’s a breath of fresh air in a system that too often forgets the human side of medicine.

It reduces my end of day fatigue.

After 15 years in practice, I didn’t think anything could meaningfully reduce the end-of-day fatigue. CleverConsult did. It took so much of the repetitive, draining documentation off my plate that I actually leave my clinic feeling fresh. The onboarding was simple and fast. Since I began using this tool, the team has continually refined and improved it. They’ve proactively implemented enhancements I was hoping for even before I mentioned them.

Its AI-powered summarization of medical referrals is incredibly accurate and efficient, cutting down my administrative workload significantly. Best of all, it frees up precious hours to spend with my family, striking the perfect balance between work and life. I highly recommend CleverConsult to any healthcare professional looking to streamline their workflow
